The Japanese companies JGC Corp. and I NPEX Corp. jointly with BASF SE have successfully completed tests of a new technology for the removal of carbon dioxide (CO2) from natural gas under high pressure.

Technip awarded engineering contract for a FLNG in Malaysia

Technip, in a consortium with Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering, has been awarded by Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS) and MISC Berhad a front-end engineering and design contract for a floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) unit. The FLNG, which will have a capacity of 1-million tpy, will be located in Malaysia.
