Williams to supply pipeline, gas processing for US Gulf development of Hess, Chevron
US natural gas infrastructure company Williams has signed agreements with Hess and Chevron to provide production handling, export pipeline, oil and gas gathering and gas processing services in the Tubular Bells field development located in the eastern deepwater Gulf of Mexico.
Chevron starts gas production at Thailand project
Chevron announced on Monday that its Thailand subsidiary has begun natural gas production from the Platong II project in the Gulf of Thailand. The $3.1 billion project is expected to ramp up production to 330 million cubic feet/ day.

PetroChina venture to build Tangshan LNG terminal
PetroChina is joining forces with Beijing Enterprises and China Suntien Green Energy Co. to build and operate a liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal in Caofeidian harbor of Tangshan, north China, according to several local media reports.
Enterprise starts up new NGL fractionator in Texas
Enterprise Products said on Tuesday that its fifth natural gas liquids (NGL) fractionator at its complex in Mont Belvieu, Texas, has begun commercial operations and is operating in excess of its nameplate capacity of 75,000 bpd. The new unit increases total nameplate capacity at the partnership’s Mont Belvieu facility to 380,000 bpd.
Enterprise sells US gas storage complex for $550m
Enterprise Products has agreed to sell its Mississippi natural gas storage facilities to Boardwalk HP Storage Co. for $550 million. The Mississippi facilities have approximately 29 billion cubic feet of total storage capacity.

Houston gas processors hype shale at annual meet
The Houston chapter of the Gas Processors Association (HGPA) held its annual meeting on October 11 at the Pine Forest Country Club, complete with breakfast, presentations by industry executives, lunch, and an afternoon golf tournament. Shale gas development and new midstream projects were heavy focuses at the meeting, which drew more than 180 attendees.
