LONDON, PARIS, HOUSTON — TechnipFMC has been awarded by Zakum Development Company an Engineering, Procurement and Construction contract for a sulfate reduction plant on West Island located offshore Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Russia's Evraz to supply pipes for Kinder Morgan's pipeline expansion
(Reuters) -- Evraz Plc, Russia's No. 2 steelmaker, signed an agreement with Kinder Morgan Inc to supply about 250,000 metric t of pipe to the US pipeline company for the expansion of the Trans Mountain pipeline.
Alfa Laval to supply heat exchangers to China refinery
LUND, Sweden -- Alfa Laval has won an order to supply compact heat exchangers to a refinery in China. The order has a value of approximately SEK 210 MM. It is booked in the Welded Heat Exchangers unit of the Energy Division, with deliveries scheduled for 2018.

Dow, Aramco JV achieves commercialization of entire plastics franchise
MIDLAND, Mich. - April 27, 2017 - The Dow Chemical Company announced that its JV in the Middle East—Sadara Chemical Company—has achieved a milestone with the commercialization of Sadara’s entire plastics franchise. The start-up of Sadara’s high-pressure low-density polyethylene plant adds to Sadara’s mixed feed cracker and the three additional polyethylene trains currently in operation.
Honeywell awarded equipment contract for Dangote’s largest single-train refinery
DES PLAINES, Ill. – UOP LLC, a division of Honeywell International Inc. announced that it has won a contract from Dangote Oil Refinery Company Ltd. for critical equipment, technology licensing and design services for a world-scale integrated refinery and petrochemical plant. When completed, the integrated complex in Lekki, near the capital of Lagos in Nigeria, will be the largest single-train refinery in the world.

Bechtel awarded two contracts for petchem project in Egypt
HOUSTON -- Bechtel, a company in engineering, procurement, and construction, announced that the company has been awarded two contracts by Carbon Holdings of Egypt: one to provide project management services for the Tahrir Petrochemicals Complex at Ain Sokhna, Egypt, and one to build two new polypropylene units at an adjacent site. In its project management role, Bechtel will have oversight of project execution and contractor performance on what will be the largest petrochemicals complex in Egypt.
