Materia, Inc. sells catalyst business to Umicore
PASADENA, Calif. — Materia, Inc., a leading supplier of high performance catalysts and advanced polymers, has entered into an agreement to sell its catalyst business to Umicore, a global materials technology and recycling company with a strong presence in precious metal catalysts headquartered in Brussels, Belgium.
Grace to acquire polyolefin catalysts business
COLUMBIA, Md. — W. R. Grace & Co. signed an agreement to acquire the Polyolefin Catalysts business of Albemarle Corporation for $416 MM. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2018, subject to regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions.
