Chevron announced on Monday that its Australian subsidiary will proceed with the construction of its $29 billion Wheatstone LNG project in Western Australia.

Air Products wins China industrial gas supply deal
Air Products will build and operate an air separation unit (ASU) and integrated liquefier in the Nanjing Chemicals Industrial Park in Nanjing, China. The ASU follows a long-term contract agreement to supply oxygen and nitrogen to Wison (Nanjing) Clean Energy’s coal-to-syngas gasification facility in Nanjing, the company said. Specific terms were not disclosed.
Chevron approved by Australia for Wheatstone LNG
Chevron says it has received Australian Commonwealth government approval for its Wheatstone LNG project in Western Australia. The foundation phase of the project will consist of two liquefied natural gas (LNG) trains with a combined capacity of 8.9 million tpy and a domestic gas plant.

Chevron inks sales deal from Australia LNG project
Chevron said it signed a sale and purchase agreement with Kyushu Electric Power Co. for the delivery of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the Wheatstone project in Western Australia. Under the binding agreement, Chevron, together with Apache and Kufpec, will deliver up to 700,000 tpy of LNG to Kyushu Electric for up to 20 years.
Indian Oil plans to double refining capacity - report
Indian Oil Corp. plans to nearly double its refining capacity by March 2022 as an improving domestic economy is helping to boost demand for fuel products in India, an executive with the company said on Friday.
