GDF Suez taps KBR to design Australia FLNG vessel
This award is one of two contracts being let by GDF Suez as part of an initial concept definition design competition for the vessel. The concept definition work is already underway in KBR’s London operations center in Leatherhead, and is expected to last up to 12 months, according to the company.

The World Bank has launched an analytical and advisory assistance program in China in order to build the country’s understanding of, and capacity for, application of carbon capture and storage (CCS). Foster Wheeler’s scope of work is expected to be completed in June 2013.
Indonesia approves expansion of BP LNG project
The plan calls for building a third liquefaction train at Tangguh, located in far eastern West Papua province, at an estimated cost of $12 billion. The third train would add liquefaction capacity of 3.8 million metric tpy to Tangguh, bringing total capacity to 11.4 million tons, the company said.
JX Nippon to permanently end crude processing at Japan's Muroran refinery
JX said it will keep oil tanks in the site and transport refined products from elsewhere to Muroran to ensure adequate supply.
