Willbros granted an EPC contract with Diamond Shamrock
Willbros Group, Inc. has been selected by Diamond Shamrock Refining Co. to provide engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of the new flare gas recovery facilities at the Valero McKee refinery located in Sunray, Texas.
Eastman expanding 2-EH capacity at Longview facility
Eastman Chemical Co. plans to expand 2-EH capacity at its Longview, Texas, site. The expansion will increase capacity by approximately 32,000 metric tons and will include a 4,500 metric ton debottleneck in October of this year for a total capacity increase near 37,000 metric tons.
Pipelines contract awarded for Aramco’s Red Sea refinery

Cobalt Technologies has signed an agreement with Fluor Corp. Under the agreement, Fluor will provide engineering consulting services as Cobalt gears up to commercialize its biobutanol production technology. Additionally, Fluor will offer a broad range of EPCM services for Cobalt’s demonstration and commercial-scale butanol production plants.
Lummus Technology involved with PDH plant in China
Lummus Technology has a contract with Tianjin Bohua Petrochemical Co. Ltd. for the license and engineering design of a grassroots propane dehydrogenation (PDH) unit to be built in Tianjin, China.
