GE acquires machine reliability firm Commtest
GE has announced the acquisition of Commtest, a provider and designer of machinery health information systems. GE Energy’s product line in Bently Nevada, a global leader in condition monitoring, will incorporate Commtest products into its portfolio and enhance an already robust lineup, it said.

Elliott Group wins dual compressor contracts for Ruwais refinery

Under contract with the engineering procurement contractor, GS Engineering & Construction, Elliott will provide seven compressor trains, a power recovery expander train and associated auxiliaries. Equipment includes a wet gas compressor, two heat pump compressors, two refrigeration compressors, a propylene compressor and a hot gas expander.

GE and ZKMK localize turbine manufacturing in Kazakhstan
