Yemen LNG repairs gas pipeline after sabotage
The 320-kilometer LNG terminal, most recently hit on December 16, has been repeatedly attacked by suspected al Qaeda-linked militants. Yemen began exporting LNG from the Balhaf terminal in 2009. French group Total has an almost 40% interest in the liquefaction plants.

CB&I to build Esso Australia gas conditioning plant

Alfa Laval to supply Australia LNG heat exchangers
The Alfa Laval compact heat exchangers will be used in a new major gas processing facility in Australia, where they will recover and reuse heat in the gas cleaning process, prior to the liquefaction. By reusing heat, the heat exchangers will contribute to bringing down energy consumption and CO2 emissions.
Petronas picks Toyo for revamp project at Malaysia gas processing complex
Toyo is slated to provide engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning with a turnkey contract for expanding the plant's life by another 20 years. Toyo says it will actively expand business in Malaysia, where investments in large refinery/petrochemicals complexes are expected to be active.
Total inks 20-year deal to buy LNG from Cheniere export project in Louisiana
The pact - along with additional indications of interes - allows Cheniere to move ahead with the development of the fifth train. The company's LNG-export project at its Sabine Pass operation initially was designed and permitted for as many as four modular LNG trains. A sixth train also is being considered.
