Technip to form downstream engineering venture with Russian group Rostec
The joint venture agreement, aimed at improving the construction and renovation of refining and petrochemical units in Russia, was signed with Rostec subsidiary Rustechexport. The two companies are also aiming to establish a joint venture to manufacture flexible pipelines and umbilicals in Russia.

Tanker drivers to strike for three days at Scottish refinery in Grangemouth
The strike, which will affect delivery of aviation and motor fuel from the 210,000 bpd refinery, is being taken in order to defend pension rights ahead of a transfer of their employment contracts from BP to DHL. BP said in a statement that its priority remains the safe delivery of fuel products.
BASF awards engineering work to Fluor on German toluene diisocyanate plant
The single-train, 300,000 tpy plant will produce TDI and expand additional plants as precursors for polyurethanes at the BASF site in Ludwigshafen. Production is set to begin in the fourth quarter of 2014.
