New oil spill containment system planned by major oil companies
A plan to build and deploy a rapid response system that will be available to capture and contain oil in the event of a potential future underwater well blowout in the deepwater Gulf of Mexico was announced today by Chevron, ConocoPhillips, ExxonMobil and Shell.
Norcorom refinery to change hands
AMIN subsidiary International American Refineries, Inc., has acquired all outstanding shares of Norcorom Industries. Norcorom owns a refinery in Ingleside, Texas, with a capacity of 40,000 bpd.
ProSep awarded $2 million contract for Canadian oil sands
ProSep Inc. was awarded a $2 million contract to provide process engineering and specialized internals for crude separation.
