Aslan Energy signs MoU for 35,000 hectares of Mexico land to propel green H2 and ammonia production
A significant step towards sustainable energy production and environmental preservation was taken by Aslan Energy Capital (Aslan Energy), which signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the acquisition of 35,000 hectares (~86,500 acres) of land in Sonora, Mexico.

The terminal will include facilities for storing, unloading, and transporting ammonia. A 30,000-ton storage tank will be used to compress and store ammonia for co-firing power generation. The terminal will also use a fuel blend comprised of at least 20% ammonia for co-firing with coal to reduce carbon emissions.

The Civil Aviation Authority of China launched the country's first technical center for sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) that focuses on standard setting and product research. The center is setting up test facilities for new products which added that China's total aviation fuel consumption is likely to exceed 50 MMtpy by 2030 and the use of SAF could reach 2.5 MMtpy.
