APS is created using our proprietary biocrude oil fractionation technology, which converts fast pyrolysis oil derived from sustainably sourced biomass into two products: the pyrolytic sugar fraction, resulting in APS, and the pyrolytic lignin fraction, resulting in Alder Renewable Crude (ARC).
