Samsung C&T and Axens partner to accelerate global deployment of CCUS projects with advanced DMX™ technology
Samsung C&T Engineering & Construction Group and Axens have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on the deployment of Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) projects.
Samsung C&T, a leading global EPC contractor with extensive experience in energy infrastructure projects including power plant and LNG terminal, is expanding into the carbon capture and storage sector. Axens, brings advanced technology expertise, including its proprietary DMX™ amine-based post-combustion carbon capture process, CO2 purification technologies, and downstream processes including the production of sustainable aviation fuels.
This partnership marks a significant step forward in our shared commitment to support industry decarbonization efforts. By combining Samsung C&T’s global project execution expertise with Axens’ cutting-edge CCUS technologies, the parties aim to accelerate the deployment of impactful and cost effective solutions that reduce carbon emissions.
