ARA gasoline stocks increase 15%
Gasoline stocks independently held in the Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp (ARA) refining and storage hub rose by 15% on the week to their highest in eight months, data from Dutch consultancy Insights Global showed.
- Gasoline inventories climbed to 1.26 MM metric tons (t), as export loadings slowed during the holiday period, Insights Global's Lars van Wageningen said.
- Gasoil stocks, which include diesel, fell by 1% to 1.96 MMt.
- Naphtha stocks fell by 15% to 514,000 t on firmer demand from gasoline blenders, Wageningen said.
- Fuel oil stocks rose more than 5% to 1.11 MMt, as imports rose.
