bp restarts catalytic reformer at Rotterdam oil refinery, crude unit remains offline

bp has restarted a 32,000-bpd catalytic reformer at its Rotterdam oil refinery after maintenance that began on April 16, while a 200,000-bpd crude unit remained offline following maintenance that started on May 1 (learn more), consultancy Wood Mackenzie said on Thursday.

bp did not immediately respond to an emailed request for comment.

The refinery has a total crude processing capacity of 400,000 bpd, making it one of the biggest in Europe.
