Reliance picks Foster Wheeler for engineering on India paraxylene expansion

Foster Wheeler was awarded a contract Thursday from India-based Reliance Industries to provide engineering and procurement services for the company's paraxylene expansion project at Jamnagar.
Located in Gujarat State, on the west coast of India, the project is part of Reliances multi-billion-dollar expansion project at its world-scale Jamnagar refining and petrochemical complex.
Foster Wheelers scope of work will include detailed engineering, licensor coordination and procurement services for the new paraxylene plant.
The project will be executed from Foster Wheelers Indian and UK operations.
