Rakib, M.
Mohammad Abdur Rakib is the Section Head for process modeling and simulation at the TAKREER Research Centre in Abu Dhabi. He also leads the operational excellence focus area for process modeling and LP modeling to establish and monitor best modeling practices in TAKREER. Dr. Rakib earned his PhD in chemical engineering from the University of British Columbia, Canada, specializing in the areas of fluidization and chemical reaction engineering, and an MS degree in chemical engineering in the area of computational fluid dynamics, from KFUPM, Saudi Arabia. His wide experience ranges from teaching in university to industrial R&D in both refining and petrochemicals. Previously, he worked at the SABIC T&I Centre in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
